Funeral services for Bryan Guinn, age 73, of Dallas, formerly of Rusk, are scheduled for 10:00 am Monday, February 15, 2010 in the Autry Funeral Home Chapel, Jacksonville with Rev. Dr. Jerry Carlisle and Rev. Byron Jackson officiating.
Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery, Jacksonville.
Mr. Guinn passed away Friday, February 12, 2010 in Dallas.
He was born January 13, 1937 in Rusk.
Mr. Guinn graduated from Rusk High School and attended Lon Morris College and Stephen F. Austin State University. He served in the U. S. Army for two tours of duty. The second tour was during the Cubian Missile Crisis. He retired as an internal revenue officer for the government.
He is preceded in death by his parents Mearl and Joe Guinn, and a sister, Mary Guinn Holcomb.
Survivors include wife of 49 years, Charline Ault Guinn of Dallas , son Todd Guinn of Rowlett, daughter, Kecia and Barry Wallace of North Richland Hills, TX, seven grandchildren, Tyler Guinn, Trevor Guinn, Amber Guinn, McKenzie Wallace, Hudson Wallace, Nick Wallace and Crystal Wallace, sisters Gloria Jennings and Nancy Guinn of Rusk, Dixie and Bill Mayall of Clifton, VA, brothers, Terry Guinn of Lake Striker and Wayne and Toni Guinn of Rusk, Sisters in-law Cynthia and Jerry Alexander of Irving, TX and Sharon Ault of Jacksonville, many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Justin Clark, Ben Mims, Caleb Carlisle, Jason Alexander, Wes Alexander, Shanon Ault, J. R. Ault, Daniel Mims. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Guinn, Terry Guinn and Jerry Alexander.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Sunday, February 14, 2010 at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
