Funeral services for Dorothy L. (Spivey) Blow, age 81, of Flint, formerly of Mt. Selman, are scheduled for 11:00 am Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Autry Funeral Home chapel, Jacksonville with Rev. Roy Thoene officiating.
Burial will follow at Larissa Cemetery, Mt. Selman.
Mrs. Blow passed away Monday, February 8, 2010 in Whitehouse.
She was born November 22, 1928 in Mt. Selman, TX.
Mrs. Blow was a member of Gresham First Baptist Church and was formerly employed by Marja’s and Nichols Industries in Jacksonville until her retirement.
She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin Blow and parents Herbert Spivey, Sr. and Gladys Spivey and brother Herbert Spivey, Jr.
Survivors include sisters-in-law Marvis Stripling and husband Jack of Bullard and Stella Spivey of Deltona; two nieces and two nephews of North Carolina and Florida.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 pm Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
